We have written about this many times, the rise of the Chinese-made forklift in the Australian Materials Handling Market<\/a>.\u00a0 It is no longer just Chinese manufacturers like HangCha or Sany that are pushing their way into the forklift market.\u00a0 Baoli forklifts are now one of those forklifts that are in the market place.<\/p>\n

Now all mainstream forklift manufacturers like Jungheinrich and Linde are going to China to get their forklift products made.<\/p>\n

Linde has taken it further than most other forklift producers and is now bringing in their Kion company-owned Chinese forklift brand to cater to the low-utilization and low-cost niche forklift market.\u00a0 Linde is bringing in the Baoli range of forklifts.<\/p>\n

\"baoli<\/a><\/p>\n

Baoli forklift Range<\/h3>\n

Starting at 1.8T through to 10T with different mast heights and attachments available, the Baoli forklift is made in China and imported into Australia, and distributed through the National Linde branch and dealer network.<\/p>\n

The smaller range of forklifts will come with an\u00a0 Isuzu C240 Diesel engine or the Standard K21 or K25 LPG GCT<\/a> (Nisan) engine.<\/p>\n

The 4Ton – 5Ton forklifts come with Yanmar diesel engines the 7Ton range comes with a Mitsubishi S6S diesel engine and the 8T – 10T comes with Isuzu diesel engines.\u00a0 They now make up to a 32T forklift.<\/p>\n

The Baoli Forklift Standard<\/h3>\n

The standard of the Baoli forklift manufacture is very typical of Chinese manufacturing.\u00a0 These forklifts are standard torque convertor forklifts and are worlds apart from the Linde Hydrostatic transmission forklift<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The support and backup you can expect are again very typical of Linde in Australia.<\/p>\n

How long has Baoli Forklifts been around?<\/h3>\n

Baoli has been manufacturing a range of forklifts since 2003.\u00a0 And has only been part of the Kion group since 2009.\u00a0 The Kion group also owns the Linde forklift brand.\u00a0 So as far as the length of time in the Australian Market is not very long.<\/p>\n

Chinese brands like the EP range of forklifts have been imported and supported for much longer in the Australian Materials Handling Market.<\/p>\n

How do they Stack up Price-wise?<\/h3>\n

To be honest, whilst Chinese manufactured forklifts have a place in the market. They squarely fill the more budget-conscious end of the market.\u00a0 The Baoli Forklifts are in the upper end of the price range when comparing other Chinese imported forklifts.\u00a0 This has more to do with the Linde business pricing model than the actual forklift itself.<\/p>\n

The Wash up<\/h3>\n

There is clearly a market requirement for Chinese Forklifts in the Australian market.\u00a0 The Baoli forklift range certainly fits into that category. But make sure you compare it with other forklifts EP CPQD25N has a GCT K25 Engine.\u00a0 A Baoli CPQD25 also has a GCT K25 Engine, but the prices you might be paying are vastly different.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
